Our Largest Studio Model Creak Box

This CreakBox has three separate dowels of various sizes and three tension points, tension is applied with the three knobs rather then a nut on a bolt thus allowing this design to make many different types of unique creaks that a standard CreakBox can’t. The other smaller dowels are used as resonators to get different tonal accents so depending on how you manipulate the ropes on them the sky’s the limit.

Although this version does not have any handles on the secondary smaller dowels for easy twisting that feature can be added if requested for an additional cost, contact us for more details.

Note: This box is not our own original design and is based on a build by another sound designer, but have decided to offer it as a completely custom build to those who may want one. Originally we were asked by one of our clients to build something similar so we did, but as the quality of all our creak boxes is of the highest caliber build of any you may have seen, this one is completely custom and although it is based on an existing design we added our own little touches like tension knobs and HQ stainless and machined aluminum hardware.
